You'll be able to shop through lots of used books and DVDs with all of the proceeds going back to the Woodstock Public Library.
WOODSTOCK - The Friends of the Woodstock Public Library is getting ready for its annual Spring Book Sale.
It's happening at the library from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. tomorrow. There will be lots of used books and DVDs to choose from, so make sure you bring bags with you.
It will be $2 for a hardcover book, $1 for a softcover book, and 50 cents for a children's easy reader. DVDs, CDs, and video games will also cost $1 each. Only cash will be accepted and all of the proceeds will be donated back to the library for its programs and services.
The Friends of the Woodstock Library is a group of local residents who love the library and want to promote its services. The group has raised money for lots of projects since it was founded in 1999. This includes the library gardens, adding computers to the children's area, and adding a framed portrait of former Chief Librarian Lee Bennett.
