South Gate Centre is hosting the 7th annual Best U Health Expo. It is geared to empower people 50 plus to take a role in bettering their well-being.
WOODSTOCK - The 7th annual Best U Health Expo is coming to Woodstock.
South Gate Centre is hosting the event tomorrow (Friday, March 8th) from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Co-Coordinator, Nancy LaPlante says the event is geared towards 50 plus, but everyone is welcome.
"Anybody younger can come in. Younger people may have parents, we talk to a lot of younger people because their parents are at home and not really getting out of the house."
LaPlante adds that this is not an expo to buy products but to learn how to empower people 50 plus to take an active role in their long-term wellness.
"We've got 32 exhibitors. We also have four presentations that are happening that day. We have the Police coming and they will be talking about personal safety."
Attending the event is free, but you can purchase a healthy lunch for 8 dollars from the Centre's food department, Local Roots.
