A 37-year-old from Norfolk County has been charged after an SUV hit a tree in Delhi last night.
DELHI - Charges have been laid after a single-vehicle crash in Delhi.
Police say an SUV left the road and hit a tree on Herbert Ave shortly after 9:00 p.m. last night. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
The OPP also discovered that the driver tampered with some property that was on the exterior of a home in the area before the responding officers arrived on scene.
A 37-year-old from Norfolk is now facing one count of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, one count of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and one count of mischief that renders property dangerous, useless, inoperative, or ineffective.
He has a court date in Simcoe late next month.
