The Board of Directors welcomed a few new members on Tuesday and Derek Rye stepped down as President after serving his two year term.
INGERSOLL - It's new year and new look for the Ingersoll Chamber of Commerce.
The Board of Directors welcomed a few new members on Tuesday and Derek Rye stepped down as President after serving his two year term. Tammy Jeffery will serve as the new President and Rick Eus will be the new Vice President. Jeffery outlines some of her goals for the new term.
"We did a strategic plan a couple of years ago and I want to move forward with that plan and come up with ways that the Chamber can advocate for local businesses and find different ways that we can better support them and promote success together."
Jeffery explains why she wanted the job.
"I have always enjoyed working with the business community, it also fits in well with by day to day job and it is great being with different business owners, network and come up with ideas and share amongst the community."
The new Board of Directors were officially sworn in on Tuesday by Ingersoll Mayor Ted Comiskey.
They are as follows:
Derek Rye, Tammy Jeffery, Rick Eus, Allan Simm, Dan Nairn, Tony Scott, Rob McCulligh, Daryl Anderson, Mike Bowman, Rachel Hancock, Allison Biggar, Dave Cross, Ken Vyse, Dale Flynn, Adam Funnell, Jeremy Steinmann, Rob Tremblett and Paul Tyndall.
