
Oxford OPP say a woman from Ingersoll nearly hit a student when she flew past a stopped school bus with the lights flashing and the stop sign activated this morning.
TILLSONBURG - A 37 year old woman from Ingersoll has been charged for failing to stop for a school bus with the lights flashing.
Police say the woman flew past the school bus on Oxford Road 119, north of Tillsonburg this morning around 8:30. An unmarked police cruiser witnessed the crime and charged the woman immediately.
A student standing on the shoulder of the road was almost hit.
The woman was charged with failing to stop for a school bus and was issued a Provincial Offence Notice.
Oxford OPP say this is extremely dangerous and could of possibly even been tragic, had she of hit that student.
