No One is Illegal on Stolen Land will take over Woodstock's Museum Square on Sunday.
WOODSTOCK - There's a lot of division in the world right now, so the Indigenous Solidarity and Awareness Network (ISAN) of Oxford County is looking to bring everyone together for a community gathering.
The event is called No One Is Illegal on Stolen Land and it will be taking place at 1:00 p.m. in Woodstock's Museum Square on Sunday. A post on the ISAN Oxford Facebook page says it's inspired by movements happening around the world in defence of human rights, democracy and dignity for for all. The post also says there will be informative conversations about how the community can unite and preserve a culture that respects human rights, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Another post from last week stated that all of the provincial election candidates would be invited to participate in the a Question Period Panel, but the organization has not revealed who has accepted the invitation at this time.
