An expansion at North American Stamping Group is a positive for locals looking for work.
WOODSTOCK - North American Stamping Group is undergoing expansion which means several good paying jobs are up for grabs.
The automotive tier 2 metal stamper, welder and assembler is undergoing a job fair and looking to fill several positions
Community Employment Services CEO Jeff Surridge says they have been really successful in securing research and development opportunities for their series of companies.
"Right now I know that they had at least 47 even general labour positions that were available immediately. They are also looking for engineers, tool and die, millwrights, more of the higher skilled positions as well."
Surridge says applicants need to bring two copies of their resume along with a coverletter if they know which job they will be applying for.
"It's really exciting for the people that come because they could be interviewed and go through assessment testing right at the facility right away which could lead to job offers quite quickly."
