Tavistock looks for 2 in a row over Ayr
Woodstock, Norwich and Tavistock are all home tonight in local Jr. C hockey.
The Tavistock Braves finish a home and home series against the 1st place Ayr Centennials. But it was the Braves who took last night's win 4-3, powered by a Jordan Ritsma hat trick.
Woodstock will face the Burford Bulldogs in back-to-back games this weekend. The Navy Vets are 6-points behind Burford in the standings and are looking to snap their losing streak. The pair meet at the Southwood Arena tonight at 7:45 pm and will meet up again Saturday night in Burford at 7:30 pm.
The Merchants are in Norwich tonight against the Wellesley Applejacks. Fans are encouraged to bring along a stuffed animal as the team hosts their annual Teddy Bear Toss. Puck drops there at 8:00 pm.
In the Southern Ontario Junior Hockey League, Thamesford will be home against the Port Stanley Sailors Friday night. Start time is 7:30 pm.
