OXFORD COUNTY - The Long Point Region Conservation Authority presented Oxford County with their 2019 budget.
They are asking the County for a slight increase this of $427,000. LPRCA General Manager Judy Maxwell says they do a lot of work in Oxford County.
"We work with the planning and development in the areas, we also do flood warning and forecasting, tree planting and erosion control services.
Maxwell says a portion of Oxford County falls under their watershed.
"We cover the Township of Norwich, the Town of Ingersoll and South West Oxford, the County provides money through levy, to support our services."
Oxford County council accepted their budget report and they will go over the request during budget deliberations.
