Upper Thames River Conservation Authority warns warmer temps and rain could cause some flooding in the County
A combination of warmer temperatures and forecasted rain has the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority warning that minor flooding is expected.
The UTRCA expects rivers and creeks to approach bank-full conditions and, in some areas, to spill into floodplains.
They are also predicting watercourses to rise and remain elevated into the weekend with any ice cover remaining to become unstable and dangerous.
Parents are being asked to keep children and pets away from river banks as well as they will be slippery and the water will be extremely cold.
