More Potential Measles Exposure Cases

Three of the cases were in the emergency room of the Woodstock Hospital.

WOODSTOCK/ST.THOMAS - Southwestern Public Health is reporting five new potential measles exposures and three of them were in the emergency department of the Woodstock Hospital.

Officials are warning people who there from 8:00 p.m. to 10:08 p.m. last Sunday, from 10:38 p.m. to 1:47 a.m. last Monday night, and from 10:43 a.m. to 1:26 p.m. on Friday.

The other two exposure cases were the emergency department of St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital. The first was on Monday from 9:20 p.m. to 11:47 p.m. and the second was on Wednesday from 12:55 p.m. to 3:25 p.m.

If you are showing symptoms or know that you have been exposed to the virus, officials say you should call your healthcare provider before paying them a visit.
