There are more hints today at possible future expansion at the CAMI Assembly plant. An unnamed source is quoted in the London Free Press as speculating that a new hybrid version of the Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain are likely to be launched in 2015. The source says an announcement that CAMI will build that vehicle will come in the spring. This follows GM's attendance at Ingersoll Council last week, asking for a site plan exemption. Town Council granted it, allowing GM to make some service changes to potentially allow for future expansion.
