Oxford County now has one new case of COVID-19 after one case was reported in Blandford-Blenheim today. Prior to this, there were no active cases of the virus reported in Oxford for nine days in a row.
OXFORD COUNTY/ELGIN/ST.THOMAS - Southwestern Public Health is reporting one new case of COVID-19 in Blandford-Blenheim.
There is now one case in Oxford County as a result. Meanwhile, Elgin County has two cases overall. There was also one death reported in Elgin County.
There are three institutional outbreaks in the region and all three have been resolved.
To date, the local health unit has tested 8,818 people and have received 8,699 test results with 8614 tests have come back negative. SWPH has 84 cumulative cases with 77 cases resolved and five deaths.
