Province confirms 129 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, 158 resolved cases and 5 additional deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 129 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 549,576.
Five additional COVID-19 related deaths were recorded today, meaning the total number of deaths now sits at 9,321. Another 158 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 538,860.
The province completed nearly 13,644 tests yesterday. We currently have 125 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 91 people in the ICU and 63 in the ICU on a ventilator. The majority of the cases are coming from hot spot regions with 37 new cases in Toronto, 22 in Peel Region and 12 in Hamilton.
