"Quick thinking and response by Oxford County officers and paramedics saved this individual's life and averted a tragedy."
WOODSTOCK - Oxford OPP responded to a person in medical distress in the area of the Highway 59 and Highway 401 overpass this morning near Woodstock.
Police and paramedics arrived on the scene and were able to transport the person to a local hospital.
Oxford OPP Detachment Commander Anthony Hymers says the quick actions of the first responders may have saved a life today.
