TAVISTOCK - Oxford OPP are looking for the public's help as they try to find the man responsible for a bank robbery in Tavistock.
The Scotiabank on Woodstock Street was robbed on April 9th. According to police the man entered the store wearing a backpack demanding money.
He fled the scene after getting into a confrontation at the bank. The backpack was left behind and is described as a black LRG pack with the symbol and the capital letters LRG below it on the pocket portion. The man is described as black, 5'9 in his early 20's with a slim build.
He was wearing grey sweat pants, black puffy short coat, a black hood with a black ball cap peak underneath, black gloves, black shoes and a white shirt.
Also spotted in the area of the crime was a white Dodge 2500/3500 series truck. It is believed to be a 2009 or newer model with a 5'1/2 box, 4 door mega cab, running boards, single wheel rear and after market roof lights, sunroof and bug deflector.
