SWPH has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Glendale High School in Tillsonburg. New cases of the virus have also been reported at Westfield Public School in Tillsonburg and St. Michael's Catholic Elementary School.
TVDSB/LDCSB - Two new COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared within the Thames Valley District School Board.
One is at Glendale High School in Tillsonburg and the other is at Pierre Elliott Trudeau French Immersion Public School in St. Thomas. Thames Valley is currently reporting four active cases within the Glendale High School community and three active cases within Pierre Elliott Trudeau French Immersion community. Both schools remain open at this time.
Southwestern Public Health declares a COVID-19 outbreak whenever officials find a connection between at least two cases.
The Thames Valley District School Board is reporting a total of eight new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 this morning and you can find a list of the affected schools below:
- Glendale High School (Tillsonburg)
- Westfield Public School (Tillsonburg)
- Pierre Elliott Trudeau French Immersion Public School (St.Thomas)
- Kettle Creek Public School (Port Stanley)
- Emily Carr Public School (London)
- Kensal Park French Immersion Public School (London)
- Westminster Secondary School (London)
- Oakridge Secondary School (London)
Thames Valley has already reached out to all of the affected school communities. This means if you don't receive a letter from the school board, your child is not considered to be at risk.
Meanwhile the London District Catholic School Board is reporting one new case of the virus at St. Michael's Catholic Elementary School in Woodstock. Officials have reached out to all of the affected parents and guardians within that community as well.
