Oxford OPP Investigating a Robbery

Officers responded to an address in Ingersoll this afternoon after getting a report of a robbery.

UPDATE - The Oxford OPP have new information regarding the on-going robbery investigation.

Yesterday, officers found and arrested a 31-year-old Ingersoll man, who is now facing charges. The charges include armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose, using a disguise with intent, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.

He has been released from custody and is set to appear in Woodstock Court on April 29th.

INGERSOLL - The Oxford OPP are asking for the publics help in an on-going investigation.

This afternoon at 12:30 p.m. officers responded to an address on Thames Street South in Ingersoll after a report of a robbery. It was determined an unknown individual entered the property with what appeared to be a firearm and left with an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency. The individual was seen leaving in a red mid-2000's Volkswagen Beetle.

The OPP are looking for anyone who may have security camera or dashcam footage around the time of the incident and in the area of Thames Street South and St. Andrews Street to share the videos.
