Feel good story for the day: Oxford OPP members tracked down Anna and were able to give her a proper thank you for the heartwarming letter she sent the detachment last week.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford OPP were able to make a little girls day, after she made their week.
Last week, the OPP posted to social media a hand written note they got from a young lady named Anna.
In the letter she wrote the following:
"Hi my name is Anna you guys and girls are probably working very hard. I know COVID-19 is hard but you can get through this. And guess what when I grow up, I want to be a Police Officer just like you. Thank You."
#OxfordOPP are happy to receive this kind letter and would like to speak with Anna...who wrote this letter and mailed it to us! Looking forward to hearing from you. We can be reached at 519-688-6540 or 1-888-310-1122 ^pc pic.twitter.com/CpnrdavddA

The OPP put out a message on social media as the letter did not have a return address, they wanted to get in touch with Anna, so they could thank her in person and let her know how much her letter meant to the officers.
Well we are happy to report the OPP managed to find Anna and she got to ride in an actually OPP vehicle. You can tell by the smile on her face, that the police made her day as well.
