INGERSOLL - You'll be able to get your pictures taken with Santa and some of his barnyard friends.
Van Roekel Holsteins will be hosting Pictures on the Farm with Santa on Sunday December 11th this year. The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and all of the proceeds will be going to the London Children's Hospital.
This will be the fifth time the Van Roekel family has hosted this event. Crystal Van Roekel says they decided to start this fundraiser about a year after the birth of their first son.
"We were just so thankful that we had a healthy baby. We had known people that weren't quite as lucky as us, and we just wanted to find a way to have fun while also giving back to a really fantastic cause."
Van Roekel says there will be lots of fun things for the kids to do while they're waiting to take their pictures with Santa.
"We have also been able to incorporate a bit more kids activities. We have face painting on site, we'll have a corn box for the kids to play with, Touch-a-Tractor, and a warm beverage with a cookie. It will be an all-around enjoyable family experience."
Van Roekel Holsteins is located at 544215 Clarke Road in Ingersoll. You can visit the Van Roekel Holsteins Facebook page for more information.
