
Police briefs include an impaired driver in Scotland, a theft in Burford, and a couple of mischief related incidents in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Emergency crews had to evacuate the Dollarama, Sport Chek, and No Frills on Norwich Ave in Woodstock after someone pulled a fire alarm.
Woodstock Police say a woman was causing a disturbance in the Dollarama Sunday morning and decided to pull the fire alarm before taking off.
Police were able to track her down afterward. The 26-year-old has been charged with false alarm of fire and public mischief.

WOODSTOCK - A 48-year-old man has been charged after someone damaged a kiosk at a local car wash.
Woodstock Police were called out to the Laserwash on Dundas Street on September 29th. They say a man decided to punch the kiosk screen while trying to pay for his car wash.
He's now facing one count of mischief under $5,000.

SCOTLAND - Impaired driving charges have been laid after a single-vehicle crash in Scotland.
The Brant OPP say a vehicle struck a guardrail on Bishopsgate Road Friday night.
The 30-year-old driver was arrested and he's now facing one count of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs and one count of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80. He was also charged with resisting a peace officer.

BURFORD - An investigation is underway after someone broke into a business on King Street in Burford.
Police say someone forced their way in early Friday morning and stole several food items. They left the scene in a dark-coloured Dodge Ram pickup truck.
