Woodstock Police are on the lookout for a reddish/purple Hummer that may be involved in a suspicious person case. Police say a 22 year old woman was walking north of Cedar Street just before 5 Friday night when a vehicle pulled up next to her asking for directions. Officers say the woman became uncomfortable as the driver continued to talk to her, eventually asking if she wanted to get into his vehicle. It wasn't until a nearby resident began walking toward them that the driver left. Police would like to speak with the driver described as a white man, about 27-30 year old, tanned with a thin face, wearing a grey baseball cap and large sunglasses driving a reddish/purple Hummer with dark tinted windows and a tire carrier mounted to the back and the H3 emblem engraved on the carrier. Anyone with information is asked to call Woodstock Police 519-537-2323.
