Woodstock Police are searching for a suspicious man in his 50's driving a blue truck and was offering ladies a ride home yesterday afternoon.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are searching for a suspicious person who was offering ladies a ride home yesterday in two separate incidents.
Police say the first woman was approached by a man on Broadway Street between Dundas and Queen around 12:30 on Wednesday afternoon. The driver pointed to the pedestrian as he drove by, then circled back around and pulled up to the pedestrian offering to give her a ride.
About 10 minutes later the same man stopped 5-7 times to offer a different woman a ride in the area of Dundas and Wellington Street.
Both reports describe the vehicle as an older model, blue, pickup truck and the driver as a white male, believed to be approximately in his 50s.
