OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Another 700 pharmacies across Ontario can now distribute the AstraZeneca vaccine to people 55 and older.
Twenty-four of them are within the Southwestern Public Health Unit including 12 locations in Oxford County. The Ford Government will allow them to start administering the vaccine this week, but the province notes that not all pharmacies will start vaccinating at the same time.
Only three pharmacies in Oxford were able to distribute the vaccine before this week; the Shoppers Drug Mart at 959 Dundas in Woodstock, Pharmasave in Ingersoll and Remedy Rx in Ingersoll.

UPDATE: Please note this list was provided to us by the Province of Ontario. We have since received word that some of the pharmacies on this list do not have the vaccine. The Tavistock Pharmacy was originally listed by the Province, however the owners of the store have confirmed they have not signed up for the program yet. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
