What will become of the old Woodstock hospital site? We'll start to learn more next month when a public meeting is held at the Woodstock Legion. MHBC Planning Consultants will be showing some early possibilities for the site, according to Hospital VP of Services Perry Lang. "A couple of high level concepts will be illustrated to the attendees so that we can receive some public input from neighbours and concerned citizens what future use of that land may be acceptable." Demolition of the old hospital will happen later this year, opening up two parcels of land measuring a total of 8.3-acres. The public meeting will be held at 6:30PM on Tuesday, April 17th at Woodstock Legion on Brant St.
