
Remembrance Day ceremonies will be taking place in Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, Norwich, Embro, Innerkip, Plattsville, Princeton, Burford, Paris and St. George today.
OXFORD COUNTY/BRANT COUNTY - There are plenty of ways to honour those who fought and those who died for our freedom today.
Here is a list of towns and cities in Oxford County that are hosting ceremonies this Thursday.
WOODSTOCK:
March to the cenotaph at 10:45 a.m.
Ceremony at cenotaph starting at 10:55 a.m.
INGERSOLL:
Ceremony at the cenotaph 10:30 a.m.
TILLSONBURG:
Silent walk to the cenotaph at 10:30 a.m.
Ceremony after the silent walk.
NORWICH:
March from legion to the cenotaph at 11:00 a.m.
EMBRO:
Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. at the cenotaph.
INNERKIP:
Ceremony at the cenotaph at 11:00 a.m.
PLATTSVILLE:
Ceremony at the cenotaph at 11:00 a.m.
PRINCETON:
Ceremony at the cenotaph at 11:00 a.m.
TAVISTOCK:
Tavistock actually already held their on Sunday, November 7th.
The following ceremonies will also be taking place in Brant County.
BURFORD:
They will have the Remembrance Day Colour Parade and Service. The parade starts at 10:45 a.m. at the Burford Legion.
PARIS:
The Paris Ceremony will be held at the cenotaph downtown. It gets started around 10:45 s.m.
ST. GEORGE
In St. George they will also start at 10:45 a.m. at the cenotaph on Main Street.
