The contest features a theme for every month and this month's theme is called Summer Buddies. Participants can upload their photos to the City of Woodstock's website.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock is encouraging residents to take part in the "Photograph Woodstock" contest.
It was created for anyone in the city, regardless of age as a way of encouraging civic engagement and creativity.
Each month had a different theme. June was Recreation month and residents were asked to submit of photo of you celebrate recreation in your community.
July was for Canada Day and how you celebrate Canada.
This month, August is called Summer Buddies. Everyone is asked to submit a photo of how you spending time during the summer with pets, family or friends inside your bubble.
Participants are invited to upload their photos the City of Woodstock’s website.
Photos will be reviewed and those that are deemed appropriate will be posted on the City of Woodstock Facebook fan page.
The City of Woodstock is encouraging all residents to continue to be vigilant during the COVID-19 pandemic and to respect physical distancing guidelines as recommended by the City of Woodstock, Southwestern Public Health and Province of Ontario.
