Grade 5 students from Royal Roads Public School participated in a safe cycling initiative.
INGERSOLL - It was a successful launch of the inaugural Ride to Thrive Program.
The collaborative effort began during the week of October 7th, between Thames Valley District School Board, Ingersoll Safe Cycling Committee, and the Ride to Thrive organization.
Grade 5 students at Royal Roads Public School in Ingersoll participated in hands-on learning sessions that combined safety instruction, practical skills development, and confidence-building exercises.
A few of the key highlights of this program included basic cycling skills, road safety, and riding in controlled environments.
The feedback from the community has been extremely positive, and parents have noticed an increased interest in cycling from their children.
