UPDATE: An 87-year-old Thamesford man has succumbed to his injuries and police have identified him.
Yesterday around 11 a.m., the Oxford OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision on County Road 119 in Zorra Township.
The investigation determined that a single vehicle left the roadway, striking a tree.
The driver was transported to hospital where he later died. He has been identified as 87-year-old Leonard Martin.
The road was closed for approximately six hours, while members of OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team assisted with the investigation.

Pictures of the crash were shared on the OPP West Region Twitter page shortly after 12:30 p.m. yesterday. Officers closed off the area for the investigation and it reopened at around 5:00 p.m.
