OXFORD COUNTY - Those looking to get vaccinated against COVID-19 will have lots of opportunities in Oxford County this week.
Southwestern Public Health will be hosting several pop-up clinics ahead of the long weekend.
The first will takeover the Unifor Local 88 hall in Ingersoll from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. tomorrow and on Wednesday. The second clinic will be taking place at the Thamesford Public Library on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Woodstock Public Library will be hosting the last pop-up clinic on Friday. That should get started at 10:00 a.m. and wrap up at 4:00 p.m.
All of the pop-up clinics only offer walk-in appointments, so you don't need to book in advance. It's also important to note that Southwestern Public Health also hosts a vaccination clinic at South Gate Centre in Woodstock on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Go-Vaxx Bus will also be making a couple of stops in Oxford County this week. It's going to be in the new Memorial Park parking lot at the Tillsonburg Community Centre tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It's also going to be parked outside the Woodstock Community Complex on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Walk-in appointments will be accepted, but you can also book an appointment online here or by calling 1-833-949-3900.
It's a packed agenda with concept drawings for Museum Square, the results of an integrity commissioners report, and the results from a recent recreation study.
