OXFORD COUNTY - We have heard reports of multiple crashes throughout the Oxford County this morning.
One of our listeners reported a crash in the area of Oxford Road 17 and 14th Line in East Zorra-Tavistock, close to a new housing development. She said it looked like a big truck was struck by another vehicle as it was backing out of the development area. Traffic is down to one lane.
The Oxford OPP is also investigating a four-vehicle crash in the area of Beaconsfield Road and Cedar Line in Norwich Township. The crash site is closed to all traffic at this time.
Another listener has reported a crash between a recycling truck and a pickup truck in the area of Road 74 and 43rd Line in Zorra Township. Emergency crews have been called in and no further details have been released.
A fog advisory is currently in effect for Oxford County. Environment Canada says the fog can make it hard to see at times and the roads could be very slippery in some areas.
The Oxford OPP is asking drivers to slow down and to make sure their headlights are on.
