Police have arrested a 21-year-old man after a shooting in Chicago killed at least six people and injured 30 others.
CHICAGO - At least six people have been killed and 30 others were injured after shots were fired during a Fourth of July parade in a Chicago suburb.
Police say a gunman climbed a ladder in an alleyway in order to access the rooftop of a commercial building yesterday and fired upon the crowd in Highland Park.
Officers were able to arrest a 21-year-old man about eight kilometres north of the shooting scene, after an hours-long manhunt and a car chase.
