OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 16 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, 19 resolved cases and 1 additional death.
The deceased is a woman in her 90's from Oxford County who was a resident at the Caressant Care Nursing home in Woodstock.

13 people are currently being treated for the virus at the hospital and 5 of those patients are in the ICU.
An Outbreak has been declared at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock and the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
Caressant Care has 4 residents and 6 staff members who have tested positive for COVID-19, meanwhile 14 patients and 5 staff members at the hospital have tested positive. Two people have died during the recent outbreaks, including a patient at TDMH and a resident at Caressant Care.
