OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 5 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, and 10 resolved cases.

15 people are currently being treated for the virus at the hospital and 8 of those patients are in the ICU. This data only reflects SWPH patients and is not an indicator of our local hospital capacity. It is a reflection of how many people locally had a severe enough illness from COVID-19 to end up in the hospital or ICU.
An Outbreak has been declared at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock and the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
Caressant Care has 4 residents and 6 staff members who have tested positive for COVID-19, meanwhile 11 patients and 5 staff members at the hospital have tested positive.
