Eight Graco Stroller models being recalled due to hinge issue that could cause laceration or amputation
More than 202 thousand Graco Baby Strollers are being recalled in Canada alone after it was discovered a folding hinge poses a threat of laceration or even amputation to children.
The recall is in place for eight models of strollers sold between August 2000 and November of this year.
While no injuries have been reported in Canada, 11 reports of cuts, partial and full finger amputation have been reported.
Owners are being asked to contact Graco for a free repair kit which will be available the beginning of December.
Parents are being asked to ensure all hinges are firmly locked while they wait for their repair kit.
