Volunteer firefighters are needed in South-West Oxford and the Township will be hosting two information sessions for potential recruits.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - South-West Oxford Township is looking for a few good men and women to join the volunteer fire department.
This is a paid position and training is provided. The Township is hosting a couple of information session for potential recruits. The first session will take place this Saturday, August 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Mount Elgin Fire Hall (333269 Plank Line/19 Hwy).
Another session for those who can’t make the first will be held on Wednesday, September 1st at 7:00 p.m. at the Brownsville Fire Hall (292244 Culloden Line).
It's recommended that you bring your loved ones with you, so they can also understand how being a volunteer firefighter would affect your personal life.
South-West Oxford is recruiting for all three fire stations.
