The Ontario Federation of Agriculture isn't happy about a pending increase in recycling fees charged on tractor and combine tires. President Mark Wales says as of April 1st the stewardship fee is changing from a flat-fee to one based on weight -- and that could see the rate for common agricultural tires jump to 300 dollars. He says farmers weren`t warned about the increase.
