United Way Oxford will be hosting its Community Celebration on Thursday March 31st and it's going to be a virtual event once again.
OXFORD COUNTY - United Way Oxford will be hosting a virtual Community Celebration once again this year.
Resource Development Coordinator Mike Crabbe says it's going to be livestreamed over YouTube on Thursday March 31st.
"We're kind of hosting a fireside chat in a way. We're getting together with some community partners and volunteers to talk about what United Way has done over the past year and how it's not possible without our donors and supporters in the community. It's a great opportunity to learn about what's happening in the community and how your donations are getting invested through these programs and helping support people across Oxford County."
United Way Oxford will also announce the winners of this year's Community Awards. The show will begin at 12:00 p.m. and it should wrap up at around 1:00 p.m.
Those interested in watching the free event have to e-mail Mike Crabbe at mike@unitedwayoxford.ca in order to register.
This year's United Way Community Celebration is sponsored by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada.
