United Way Oxford will celebrate the end of the 2024 fundraising champaign with the community.
OXFORD COUNTY - United Way Oxford is getting ready for their 60th anniversary Community Celebration.
The event will feature their fundraiser campaign highlights, and stories of how their partnerships with local organizations shape the communities of Oxford. Megan Porter the Resource Development Coordinator with United Way Oxford explains
"we will celebrate and commemorate an incredible campaign year and present out community impact awards"
porter also says there will be a couple special awards given that night
" We have the privilege and the honour of presenting two King Charles III Coronation Medals at our community celebration this year. we will be presenting an award to our Executive Director Kelly Gilson, and also to our long time volunteer Beth Taylor"
The event will be hosted at the Sally Creek Community Centre on March 26th from 5p.m. - 7p.m. There will be snacks, a cash bar, and guest speakers. The celebration is free to the public so anyone interested can come and enjoy. All you have to do is register for a ticket on the United Way Oxfords website HERE.
