
A former Woodstock nurse is back in court today facing murder, attempted murder, and aggravated assault charges.
WOODSTOCK - The woman accused of killing 8 people while working at nursing homes in Woodstock and London is back in court today.
Elizabeth Wettlaufer will be appearing via a video conference for a judicial pretrial. She was supposed to have a pretrial on March 17th, however the defence asked for more time to go over the disclosure.
Wettlaufer is facing 8 counts of first degree murder, four counts of attempted murder, and 2 counts of aggravated assault. The alleged aggravated assaults and two of the attempted murders happened at the Caressant Care in Woodstock where she is accused of killing 7 people. The other attempted murder charges stem from Telfer Place in Paris and at a private residence in Oxford County.
Wettlaufer's charges date back to 2007 and the most recent case occurred in August of 2016. The following are the 8 people she is accused of killing at nursing homes in Woodstock and London.
