OXFORD - There's a winter weather travel advisory in effect.
Environment Canada is reporting snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 centimetres that could cause poor visibility beginning this evening.
An approaching low pressure system will make its way over Lake Erie tonight, bringing snow for much of southern Ontario. They say this will be the first significant snowfall of the season for most areas.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
