As we celebrate family day, the Woodstock Museum invites everyone to remember the brave folks who served during World War One.
The grand opening of the fourth installment for Oxford Remembers Oxford's Own will take place on Monday, February 20th.
Director/Curator Karen Houston says they will be taking a closer look at some of the people who lived here in
"We highlight just a few in the actual exhibit as well as some of their artifacts. For instance there is a trunk from someone who died at Vimy - his family got the trunk back. Things of that nature."
"We're going to have people actually in the World War uniforms - what are the different significance of the buttons and bars on them. And taking a look at transpositional codes and how they were actually used in World War One and what life was like in the trenches."
It's happening from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
