If you get under the influence while driving in Woodstock this holiday season, you won't be getting a lump of coal for Christmas, you will be getting an impaired driving charge.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police service is set to launch the Holiday Season RIDE Program.
Officers will be setting up random spot checks all across the City this Holiday season. RIDE Programs can and will be set up at any time of day throughout the holiday season and year round. If you plan to consume any
intoxicating substance please plan ahead and do not drive.
Inspector Paul Hess says the goal is to keep everyone safe this holiday season.
"The Woodstock Police Service wishes everyone a happy and safe holiday season, and please drive safe and drive sober."
Woodstock Police will start the Festive RIDE program tonight.
