An investigation from the Woodstock Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit has resulted in child pornography related charges for a man from Toronto.
WOODSTOCK - An investigation from the Woodstock Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit has resulted in charges for a man from Toronto.
On Wednesday Police arrested 51 year old Steven Redigonda on charges of possession of child pornography and access any child pornography.
This investigation is ongoing and the search warrant was executed on Wednesday.
The Woodstock Police Service is a member of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet and conducts investigations into Internet Child Exploitation Offences in partnership with numerous Ontario Police Services.
The investigation was made possible thanks to a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
This is the second child pornography related arrest from the Woodstock Police in the last two weeks.
